Process Development Associate Scientist (31194) – Juncos, PR


Develop projects and contribute to experimental strategies and scientific vision. Function as lead scientific resource with cross-functional impact, capable of managing and leading scientific projects which may involve cross functional areas.

Guide the successful completion of major programs by functioning in a project leadership role or lead scientific/technical resource.

Develop novel processes or approaches to solve problems within a broad discipline within the work group.

Identify and analyze factors and trends outside immediate area that impact project or function/department.

Introduce new technologies and concepts.

Lead teams that contribute to the achievement of department/project/product team objectives.

Provide guidance in the resolution of scientific/technical issues within the function/department.



Doctorate degree and 2 years of directly related experience or Master’s degree and 6 years of directly related experience or Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of directly related experience.
Scientific educational background required.



Experience in Process Development and Validation of Inspection and Packaging processes.

Working knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech processes.

Documenting in a highly regulated environment.

Able to operate specialized laboratory equipment and computers.

Able to interpret and apply GLPs and GMPs.

Able to develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
