Key responsibilities typically include:
- Responsible for evaluating and reviewing engineering designs to ensure they meet project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory codes.
- Examining engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for accuracy and completeness and ensuring project adherence to client’s standards.
- Identifying potential design issues and recommending improvements.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve technical discrepancies or deviations, coordinating with field office design teams to implement solutions.
- Ability to meticulously review complex documents and identify potential design failures.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (designers, manufacturing, quality assurance, and project managers)
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards and company protocols
- Participating in design review meetings and providing technical feedback
- Documenting review findings, corrective actions, and approval status
- Timely project review completion
- Experience participating in or coordination meetings, constructability reviews, and incident/near‑miss investigations.
